A man was shot in the neck with a paintball gun while walking with his friend along Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Kyle Davis, the victim, initially thought a rock had hit him until he saw the paint. Fortunately, the paintball missed his eye and ear; otherwise, he could have lost his hearing or sight. Davis emphasized that people should not shoot paintball guns at random individuals as it is hazardous and recommended using designated paintball arenas for such activities. He stated that the incident was not a laughing matter and urged people to take the matter seriously.
