Unfortunately, Home Depot does not fill Co2 tanks in-store or online as of today. However, it does carry Co2 products such as soda stream refills that customers can purchase. Alternatively, customers can visit hardware and sporting goods stores such as Ace Hardware and DICK’s Sporting Goods to fill Co2 tanks.
Walmart does not have the equipment to refill any sized Co2 tanks in-store. But, you can purchase your own Co2 refill station on the Walmart website, which will allow you to easily refill tanks for paintball and air guns yourself whenever you need to.
Air compressors are widely used to fill paintball tanks at home without the stress of seeking a professional’s help. However, refilling an air tank is nothing compared to pumping air into your car tires. This process involves acquiring an air compressor that has the right pressure to help refill a paintball tank.
If you need compressed air in any remote location where there’s no electricity to run a compressor, you can fill up an air tank at home by using an air compressor; if you don’t have one, you can use the compressor at a gas station or hardware store.
Paintball cylinders need to be retested for its serviceability every three to five years. They also only have a lifespan of 15 years. HYDROSTATIC TEST or HYDROTEST – The tank is visually inspected for cracks then is pressurized with water to look for a drop in pressure or to see if there are any leaks.
